SPACE ENGLISH ACTIVITIES, SONG, VIDEOS AND GAME: WEEK X (1st june-5th june)

Hello children, I hope you are fine!

It’s English time.

This week we practise space CLOTHES and learn SPACE HISTORY.

This is Laika, the first astronaut in space. It was Russian. It wasn’t a human, it was a dog!!

On 3rd November 1957, Laika was the passenger in the rocket Sputnik 2.

It is very famous all over the world, everybody loves it and we always remember Laika.

It was a hero.

This is Neil Armstrong, he was the first astronaut walking on the moon. He was American.

On 20th July 1969, the rocket Apollo XI landed on the moon and, the next day, on 21st July, Neil Armstrong put his foot on the moon.

As we are talking about astronauts and space trips, watch how to draw an astronaut:

• Activity: Take a piece of paper, a pencil, crayons and YOUR IMAGINATION…
  1. First, draw an astronaut. You can draw your own astronaut or copy the astronaut from the video.
  2. Second, colour it.
  3. Third, draw the background for example: spaceships, a planet, a rocket...
  4. Fourth, write about the clothes the astronaut is wearing. I give you ideas.
  5. Fifth, take a photo of yourself (SELFIE) smiling and send it to me.

• Actividad: Coge papel, lápiz, pinturas y TU IMAGINACIÓN…
  1. Primero, dibuja un astronauta. Tú puedes dibujar tu propio astronauta o fijarte del vídeo. (Que el dibujo sea grande, tamaño folio)
  2. Segundo, coloréalo.
  3. Tercero, dibuja el fondo: naves espaciales, un cohete… lo que quieras.
  4. Cuarto, escribe sobre la ropa que lleva el astronauta. Yo te doy ideas.
  5. Quinto, hazte una foto a ti mismo, un maravilloso SELFI sonriendo y mándamela con el dibujo del astronauta y las frases de la ropa que lleva puesta.
